Environmental Choice New Zealand (ECNZ) is New Zealand’s only Type 1 Ecolabel, which means it provides rigorous, verifiable, third-party-assessed evidence that products and services meet certain environmental standards through the life-cycle of their use.
ECNZ administers a range of licences for cleaning products and services. In her presentation, General Manager Francesca Lipscombe will look at what the ecolabel covers, the challenges presented by cleaning products, the benefits to licensees, their customers and the community of having a licence, and the innovative work being done by cleaning companies and product developers to make their products and services environmentally preferable.
